A Small Improvement to Web Browsing . . .

As a web designer, out of necessity I spend hours a day on the Web. Here is a small tweak for Windows XP based computers that I found makes the experience more pleasant. Windows XP has a feature called Clear Type that smoothes out the pixellated type normally seen in browsers, making the type smooth and more legible. This feature needs to be activated. Here are the instructions for activating Clear Type. Your eyes will thank you!

This photo was taken recently in Jemez Valley, New Mexico. It perfectly encapsulates the essence of New Mexico style. The pickup truck is de rigueur in New Mexico. And, nothing says New Mexico panache like a forty year old Ford or Chevy pickup, even if its not in running condition!
