There are times of the day when light and landscape combine in a way that makes a work of art. In this photo, the afternoon light paints the Sandia mountain range with delicate shadows that compliment the early spring colors of the surrounding terrain. The Sandias, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico is here seen from the Old Route 66 that runs parallel to this beautiful mountain range.
