On the corner of Prince and Springfield sits an old synagogue on a large vacant overgrown lot. Both the inside and outside are about to be transformed into the Greater Newark Conservancy's Urban Environmental and Ecological Center, the first urban environmental center of its kind in the Greater Metropolitan Area.
