Boutique Web Design

This web design is for a boutique located in Scarsdale, New York. It is, in fact, the first website we designed when our business started ten years ago! The clean, stylish, aesthetics of this design promotes the client's brand, and, conveys a sense of elegance and good taste.

The major challenge we faced ten years ago was creating the "look and feel" we desired using the rather primitive tools then available for web design. For example, because of the limitations in computer color rendering, we were limited to a WEB COLOR PALETTE of 256 colors (and most of those colors were rather garish). HTML was still in its infancy. Yet, we were determined to give our client the maximum impact within those technological limitations.

The web site served our client well, and is a good example of the creative use of technological "workarounds" employed by WEB DESIGNERS to maximize the aesthetic potential of html when the Internet was still in its' infancy! View the ORIGINAL WEB SITE HERE.
