As web designers, one of our greatest challenges (and pleasures) is creating great web design for artists and photographers. They already have a keenly developed aesthetic sense that we must understand and support in our web design. It is deeply satisfying when that challenge is met! In this web design for a photographer / artist, we sought to create a stylish environment that reflected the artistic philosophy of our client. We use a minimalist approach that allowed her art / photography to capture center stage.

Our clean, simple layout conveys a sense of contemporary style. Yet, it never outshines the appealing artwork of our client. The design is easy to navigate, and nimble enough for potential clients on dial-up connections to avoid excessive page loading time.
