There are fundamental differences between blog web design and the design of standard web sites. Blogs are daily online journals that provide current information on a timely basis. Designed to be updated and read daily, the focus is on content, not design. Therefore, blogs must be above all readable, legible and easy to navigate (another sample of OUR BLOG DESIGN can be seen here).

We designed a blog for the well known illustrator LARRY ROIBAL. He submits a daily sketch of a person currently making news headlines to his blog DRAWING OBSERVATIONS every weekday morning. Typically, the sketches are made on the newspaper of the day as he commutes in the mornings. Along with the talent evident in this sketches, we get a bit of entertaining commentary along with each sketch.
We worked with the Larry closely to create a very clean design for the blog. The intent was to have a simple, workable design that fades into the background, allowing the content to take center-stage on each page. In addition, the navigation is clear, simple, and search-engine friendly.
Larry's blog has quickly become quite popular, attracting a daily following of loyal readers. In fact, as a result of this blog, Larry was contacted by the Obama Campaign and commissioned to create a poster (seen below).

We are delighted to create a blog design that has provided such value to our client. It is also nice to know that the fruits of our labor have contributed to a such a well-loved and witty daily online journal.
