Sometimes, our WEB DESIGN PROJECTS combine all the elements that make what we do so enjoyable: a great client, a cause worth promoting, and a fulfilling creative exercise. We recently completed an enjoyable six-month collaboration with LIFE STEPS FOUNDATION, a not-for-profit, providing community based assistance to infants, teens, and adults in California. This project was a major redesign (see old website at bottom of page) and re-thinking of the web presence for this well known California institution.
We collaborated closely with the Information Technology Dept. of Life Steps to create a truly dynamic web design that contains a wealth of features that makes the website usable and relevant to both their the staff and clients. For example, the entire website is template driven, and allows the client to use Macromedia Contribute to easily update and add content with minimal training. Additionally, the website contains event calendars, blogs, photo gallery, and a forum, making it a growing, dynamic, resource that stays useful to the Foundation and its clients.

The web design makes careful use of color, simplicity, and appealing imagery to convey the warmth and humanistic focus of the foundation. This is the type of web design we really enjoy creating!
Our web design was so well received, that it moved Life Steps Foundation to redesign its corporate identity, and all marketing materials to mirror the look we developed for the web design. All in all, it has been a satisfying and productive collaboration that yielded great results!
