iStockPhoto is a collection of royalty-free files contributed by its members on a voluntary basis. iStock members are part of an international community of amateur and professional artists who contribute photos, Flash animation, sound clips and vector images to this rapidly growing resource. Because of the international flavor of the offerings, you see a wide range of creative approaches to photography and artwork. This collection is ideally suited for web designers. The prices are low enough to fit any design project.

Members (free sign-up) can download from a collection of images, audio, and Flash animation, and browse through the forums on design and photography. The artwork tends to be more conceptual than commercial. However, the images are often cutting edge, urbane, and oh, so cool.
